About Jacksonville NC Alumnae Chapter

The Jacksonville (NC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered by fourteen area educators, social workers and other professional young women. These Delta ladies saw a need to impact the civic and social needs of the Jacksonville/ Onslow, Camp Lejeune Community.  On February 5th, 1989 Jacksonville (NC) Alumnae Chapter received its charter. 

The chapter began to plan and implement programs and projects in the community as set forth by the National Five Point Programmatic Thrust. Currently, our chapter has 58 members and 13 past presidents
