About Jacksonville NC Alumnae Chapter

The Jacksonville (NC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was
chartered by fourteen  area educators, social workers and other professional
young women. These Delta women saw a need to impact the civic and social needs of the Jacksonville/Onslow Community. On February 5th, 1989 Jacksonville (NC) Alumnae Chapter received its charter. Sandra Hardison Bragg, a driving force in this endeavor was elected our first president. The chapter began to plan and implement programs and projects in the community as set forth by our National Five Point Programmatic Thrust.
